About Windy Acres Boers

Welcome to Windy Acres Boers, home of Terry and Sue Taylor, where our motto is “Champion Genetics Producing Champions”.
 

What began as our son's FFA project many years ago has evolved into the breeding of top quality traditional and colored Boer goats that are consistently competitive at the national level today. We strive to make show quality Boer goats each year.  We use only champion bloodlines and genetics, so when we say “Champion Genetics Producing Champions," we really mean it.
 

Here at Windy Acres Boers, we raise show quality Boer goat breeding stock and competitive show wethers. Terry is an ABGA Certified Judge who travels throughout the country to judge many different shows throughout the year. The Windy Acres herd consists of full blood and percentage Boer goats along with top quality show wether genetics. We are proud to offer quality foundation stock and replacement stock for Boer goat breeders and show wether breeders and we often consign animals to various sales throughout the country. We always have quality Boer goats for sale.
 

We truly believe in raising beautiful, high quality Boer goats that are above and beyond today’s industry standards and we are always striving to make our herd better. Our Boer goats have earned honors at every major show across the country and many of the animals we have sold have gone on to be winners and produce winning show goats for their new owners.
 

With many banners from Forth Worth, San Angelo, Houston and ABGA Nationals over the last several years, we feel our breeding program is second to none and are excited about our future in the Boer goat industry. In 2014, Windy Acres was recognized as the ABGA’s Premier Breeder at the ABGA National Show in Grand Island, NE. The Boer goat herd at Windy Acres is built on the foundation of strong genetics that are and have been well known throughout the Boer goat industry since its inception in the United States. Our goal is and has always been to focus on quality, not quantity and to promote honesty, sincerity and integrity in our service to all breeders of goats.
